AWS Impacting Resources

Keep track of the resources for the AWS services you monitor. For your key monitored services, view a list of all the associated impacting resources.

Impacting Resources are the underlying or dependent AWS resources that directly affect the health and performance of a monitored service. The Impacting Resources tab gives you a consolidated view of these resources, making it easier to pinpoint which components are contributing to degraded performance or outages — so you can resolve issues faster without switching between multiple monitors.

The Impacting Resources tab

To view the Impacting Resources tab for key AWS monitors:

  1. Go to Cloud > AWS.
  2. Click the desired service.
  3. Click the desired monitor name.

From the Impacting Resources tab, you can also:

  • Obtain the status of the associated impacting resources.
  • Receive notifications if the associated resources face issues.
