Adding a Nutanix storage container monitor
Monitor Nutanix storage containers and view metrics related to their storage capacity, latency, and bandwidth. You can also set thresholds and receive alerts when any of the thresholds are breached.
Prerequisites
- Install Site24x7 On-Premise Poller version 5.1.0 or above to get started.
- Ensure the option Nutanix Storage Container under Discover and Auto-add Resources in the Add/Edit Nutanix Cluster page is set to Yes.
Add a Nutanix Storage Container Monitor
A Nutanix storage container can be discovered automatically and added while adding a Nutanix cluster monitor. To add a Nutanix storage container monitor for an existing Nutanix cluster monitor:
- Log in to your Site24x7 account.
- Go to VMware > Nutanix Resources > Cluster.
- Click on an existing Nutanix cluster monitor that has storage containers to be monitored.
- Hover on the hamburger
icon beside the monitor display name. Click Edit. - In the Edit Nutanix Cluster page, toggle Yes to the option Nutanix Storage Container under Discover and Auto-add Resources.
During the next data collection, the storage containers will be added as a separate monitor(s) under VMware > Nutanix Resources > Storage Container.
Licensing
Each Nutanix storage container monitor is a basic monitor.
