Adding a Nutanix Host Monitor

Monitor Nutanix hosts and obtain metric-level data on all components like CPU, memory, storage, input-output operations, bandwidth, and latency. You can also set thresholds and receive alerts when any of the thresholds are breached.

Prerequisites

Adding a Nutanix Host monitor

A Nutanix Host can be discovered automatically and added while adding a Nutanix Cluster monitor. While adding a Cluster, toggle to Yes, corresponding to Nutanix Hosts, under Discover and Auto-add Resources.

  1. Log in to your Site24x7 account.
  2. Click the name of your Nutanix Cluster monitor to open it in a new dashboard.
  3. In the monitor's dashboard, click on the hamburger icon near the name of the monitor, and click Edit
  4. In the edit monitor form that opens up, enable monitoring Nutanix Hosts by selecting Yes under Discover and Auto-add Resources.
