Tencent Cloud CBS Monitoring Integration
Utilize Site24x7 Tencent Cloud CBS Monitoring Integration to:
- Track read and write IOPS and throughput to identify storage performance bottlenecks.
- Monitor IO utilization and average queue length to detect disk saturation.
- Measure IO service time and wait time to diagnose latency in storage operations.
- Proactively alert when storage performance degrades before applications are impacted.
This help document contains instructions to set up Tencent Cloud CBS Monitoring Integration and related information.
Setup and configuration
During your Tencent Cloud monitor setup, if you have selected CBS in the Services/Resources drop-down, all your CBS resources will be auto-detected and monitored without the need to manually create a monitor for each resource.

Supported metrics
| Metric name | Description | Unit |
|---|---|---|
| IO Average Queue Length | Average number of IO requests waiting in the disk queue | Count |
| IO Service Time | Average time the disk takes to service a single IO request | Milliseconds |
| IO Utilization | Percentage of time the disk was busy processing IO requests | Percent |
| IO Wait Time | Average time IO requests spend waiting before being serviced by the disk | Milliseconds |
| Read IOPS | Number of read operations completed per second | Ops/second |
| Read Throughput | Volume of data read from the volume per second | MB/second |
| Write IOPS | Number of write operations completed per second | Ops/second |
| Write Throughput | Volume of data written to the volume per second | MB/second |
Threshold configuration
Global configuration
- Go to the Admin section in the left navigation pane.
- Select Configuration Profiles from the left pane and choose the Threshold and Availability (+) tab from the drop-down menu. Click Add Threshold Profile from the top-right corner.
- Set the monitor type as Tencent Cloud CBS. Now you can set the threshold values for all the metrics mentioned above.
Monitor-level configuration
- Go to Cloud > Tencent Cloud > CBS.
- Choose a resource for which you would like to set a threshold, then click the hamburger icon
. Select Edit, which directs you to the Edit Tencent Cloud CBS Monitor page. - You can set the threshold values for the metrics by selecting Threshold and Availability. You can also configure IT Automation at the attribute level.
