This integration provides monitoring support for the following monitor types:
- NoSQL Table: Monitors top-level Oracle NoSQL tables and tracks capacity consumption, storage utilization, throttling activity, shard utilization, and replication health.
- NoSQL Child Table: Monitors child tables within a parent table and provides table specific performance and capacity metrics.
Overview
Oracle NoSQL monitoring in Site24x7 provides continuous visibility into the operational health and performance of your NoSQL database environment. It collects metrics from the OCI monitoring service and presents them through dashboards, reports, alerts, and trend charts.

Setup and configuration
To get started with Oracle NoSQL Database monitoring:
- Site24x7 uses cross-tenancy access to monitor your resources using Site24x7's tenancy user. Log in to your Site24x7 account and create a specific policy to allow Site24x7 to view your resources without affecting your security.
- On the Integrate OCI Monitor page, select NoSQL Database from the Services to be discovered list.
Permissions
Ensure that Site24x7 receives the following permissions to monitor the NoSQL Database:

Site24x7 queries OCI service-level APIs according to the set polling frequency (from once a minute to once a day) to collect metrics from a NoSQL Database monitor.

Threshold configuration
To configure thresholds for an Oracle NoSQL Database monitor:
- Log in to your Site24x7 account and navigate to Admin > Configuration Profiles > Threshold and Availability.
- Click Add Threshold Profile.
- Select OCI NoSQL Table or OCI NoSQL Child Table from the Monitor Type drop-down menu.
- Configure threshold values for the supported metrics based on your operational requirements.
- Click Save.
Status propagation
Status propagation simplifies alert management by consolidating alerts across related Oracle NoSQL Database resources. Instead of generating separate alerts for parent and child tables, Site24x7 automatically propagates the health status of child tables to their associated parent monitor.
When status propagation is enabled:
- Alerts for Oracle NoSQL Child Table monitors are disabled by default.
- Health status changes detected in child tables are propagated to the parent Oracle NoSQL Table monitor.
- A single alert is generated for the parent monitor, helping reduce duplicate notifications and alert fatigue.
- If you want child tables to generate independent alerts, edit the associated threshold profile and set Skip Alert to No.
For example, if a child table experiences excessive write throttling, Site24x7 updates the health status of the parent Oracle NoSQL Table monitor and raises a single alert. This allows administrators to focus on the overall health of the database instead of responding to multiple alerts for related resources.

Summary
The Summary tab provides an overview of the table's overall health and performance. View the events timeline along with trend graphs to quickly assess the operational state of the table, identify usage patterns, detect performance issues, and monitor changes over time.
Configuration
The Configuration tab displays the complete configuration of the selected table, including resource properties, deployment information, life cycle status, schema details, regional configuration, and resource metadata. Use this tab to review the table configuration and verify its settings.
Table Limits
The Table Limits tab displays the configured operational limits for the selected table, including its capacity mode and resource allocation settings. This tab helps you verify the configured limits and understand the capacity available for the table.
Note : This tab is available only for OCI NoSQL Table monitors and is not displayed for OCI NoSQL Child Table monitors.
Columns
The Columns tab lists all columns defined for the selected table along with their schema information. Use this tab to review the table structure and validate column definitions.
Indexes
The Indexes tab displays all indexes associated with the selected table. This helps you review the indexing configuration and understand how data is organized to support query performance.
Replicas
The Replicas tab displays all replicas associated with the selected OCI NoSQL table across different OCI regions. View the availability status of each replica along with basic resource information to verify cross region replication and quickly identify the operational state of replicated tables. This is a read-only view, and threshold configuration is not supported from this tab.
Child Tables
The Child Tables tab lists all child table monitors associated with the selected parent table. Click a child table to view its monitor details and understand its relationship with the parent table.
Outages
The Outages tab provides details on an outage's Start Time, End Time, Duration, and Comments, if any.
Notes
The Notes tab provides details such as Resource ID, Region, Monitor Licensing Category, and additional monitor information. You can also view or configure the Threshold and Availability Profile and Notification Profile associated with the monitor from this tab.
Log Report
The Log Report tab provides a consolidated report of the OCI NoSQL Table monitor's log status, which can be downloaded as a CSV file.
Alert Logs
The Alert Logs tab displays a chronological list of all triggered alerts related to the OCI NoSQL Table monitor. This tab helps you review alert history, understand the severity of previous incidents, and validate your threshold configuration.
OCI NoSQL Child Table
Summary
The Summary tab provides an overview of the child table's health and operational status. View the events timeline and performance trends to understand the behavior of the child table and identify issues that may affect its parent table.

View the availability status of each replica along with basic resource information to verify cross region replication and quickly identify the operational state of replicated tables. This is a read-only view, and threshold configuration is not supported from this tab.
