Azure Event Grid System Topic Monitoring Integration
An Azure Event Grid System Topic represents one or more events published by Azure services such as Azure Storage or Azure Event Hubs.
With Site24x7's integration, you can now monitor your Event Grid System Topic, configure thresholds, and receive alerts about critical issues.

Setup and configuration
You can add an Azure Event Grid System Topic while adding a new monitor or you can add one to an existing Azure monitor. Follow these steps to add the service.
Supported metrics
The following metrics are collected:

| Matched Events | The total number of events matched to this event subscription | Total | Count |
| Publish Failed Events | The total number of events that failed to publish to this topic | Total | Count |

| Publish Success Latency | The time taken by the topic to publish the event to the event subscription | Total | Milliseconds |

Threshold configuration
Global configuration
- Go to the Admin section in the left navigation pane.
- Select Configuration Profiles from the left pane and choose the Threshold and Availability (+) tab from the drop-down menu. Click Add Threshold Profile in the top-right corner.
- Set the monitor type as Azure Event Grid System Topic. Now you can set the threshold values for all the metrics mentioned above.
Monitor-level configuration
- Go to Cloud > Azure and select Azure Event Grid System Topic from the drop-down menu.
- Choose a resource for which you would like to set a threshold, then click the hamburger icon
. Select Edit, which will direct you to the Edit Azure Event Grid System Topic Monitor page. - You can set the threshold values for the metrics by selecting Threshold and Availability. You can also configure IT Automation at the attribute level.
