Add a Celona monitor

Add a Celona monitor to track the availability and performance of your Celona orchestrator and all the organizations, edge nodes, and access points within it.

Prerequisites

  • The URL of your Celona orchestrator (for example, https://zylker.com).
  • An API key generated from your Celona orchestrator with read-only privileges and access to all the organizations you wish to monitor.

Add a monitor

  1. Log in to your Site24x7 account.
  2. Navigate to SDN > Celona SD-WAN and click the plus icon + beside Celona SD-WAN, or click Add Celona SD-WAN on the Help Assistant page. Alternatively, navigate to Admin > Inventory > Add Monitor and click Celona SD-WAN.
  3. Provide the configuration details:
    • Display Name: A name to identify this monitor in the dashboard.
    • Orchestrator URL: The Celona orchestrator URL or IP address with an http:// or https:// prefix (for example, https://zylker.com).
    • API Key: An orchestrator API key with read-only privileges that has access to all the organizations you wish to monitor.
    • Auto-discover SD-WAN Components: Select Yes to discover all the organizations, edge nodes, and access points within the Celona SD-WAN. If you select No, you can manually add the organizations and components you wish to monitor.
    • Monitor Groups: Associate the monitor with one or more monitor groups.
    • Threshold and Availability: Select a threshold profile to get notified when the configured values are breached.
    • Notification Profile: Select a notification profile to define when and how you receive alerts.
    • User Alert Group: Select the user groups that should be alerted during an outage.
    • Tags: Associate tags to organize and filter your monitors.
    • IT Automation Templates: Map automation templates to perform corrective actions automatically when an alert is triggered.
  4. Click Save.

The Celona SD-WAN, the organizations within it, and the edge nodes and access points within each organization will be added as monitors.
