DNS propagation is the amount of time it takes for a domain's nameserver to get updated or the amount of time it takes for ISPs around the world to update their caches with the new DNS information of a domain. DNS propagation usually takes between 24-48 hours but it can also be as high as 72 hours if the domain is hosted in a geographically far off region.
