At Site24x7, we’ve been using multiple third-party carriers such as BulkSMS, Twilio, Clickatell and Route Mobile for delivering SMS-based alerts to our users. Effective May 25, 2018, we will discontinue Route Mobile service due to the low usage among users. As a replacement, we’ve successfully migrated all existing Route Mobile users to Twilio. Other third-party SMS carriers will continue to work as usual. To ensure a seamless alerting during a failure or service outage with your preferred carrier, we’ll automatically connect to an available carrier.
You can manually change the SMS provider settings by following the steps below:
- Login to Site24x7 web client.
- Go to Admin > User & Alert Management > Users & Alerts > Edit Users
- Click the Test Alert link and pick the preferred SMS provider of your choice.
