Hi,

Yes, we are working on to support the Hyper-V and failover cluster monitoring and it will be available in any one of our future updates. I will update the timeline here once this feature is completed on our end.

In regards to CSV disks, please let me know what are all the metrics you would like capture in the monitoring. So that we will make sure those metrics are covered while releasing this feature.

Hello Mohammad Rafee

I urgentily need a way to monitor CSV Space(Full space, free space, % space) for my costumers.

I tried to make custom scripts for that, but without success.

i can get that info easily with powershell.

rmachado,

It would be great if you can share the powershell script if you have one.

I would also throw my name onto this request. It's critical that we be able to monitor Hyper-V hosts for their heath.

Being able to have visibility into Failover Cluster and CSV's is also highly desireable.

When we monitor hosts at this time, we only see the host's metrics.. not what the VM's are using.

We also need to be able to monitor Dynamic Memory per VM. Today we can do this via SCVMM but we want to be able to provide our non-IT staff the ability to monitor memory use on a server by server basis.  Currently, memory monitoring metrics are useless as they do not take the balloon into account.

Hi,

Just a quick update on the features that we had discussed earlier in this forum post.

1. We have recently released support for Windows Failover cluster monitoring in Site24x7. Please refer below link for more details on the same:

2. We have created a plugin that can support monitoring of below parameters for CSV disks:
i) Size of CSV disk
ii) Free space available
iii) Space Used
iv) Percentage of free space

Please refer below link for more details on Custom Plugins in Site24x7:

We request you to download the zip file from the attachment and extract it for the plugin file,  DiskCSVsize.ps1

You need to edit the DiskCSVsize.ps1 file and update the value for $csvname variable with the CSV disk name that needs to be monitored in the below line:

$csvname = "Cluster Disk 1" #Add your csv name

Once updated, try executing the DiskCSVsize.ps1 in powershell to ensure that it works as expected.

3. We are actively working on adding support for Hyper-V monitoring and currently this is under testing phase. We will be releasing Hyper-V monitoring as part of our future releases. However, we do not have an exact timeline for the same to be available in the product.

We will update this forum post once Hyper-V monitoring is available in Site24x7.
