   How many applications do you run in an Instance? Though it can be supported, benefits would be based on the no. of applications you run in the Instance.

Alternatively, since you are in auto-scaling you could enable hourly-billing for your account. You will be charged on an hourly-billing. For more details refer this announcement post.
