Can you ad hoc test a monitor?

For example a hard drive is alerting for space.  i go in an clean some stuff out.  Do I have to wait for the next poll interval or can I force the poll at will to see if its fixed?

Our agent will show the updated status of your disk on the next poll. At the moment, forcing a poll from your end is not supported.

Could you provide us more details on how this feature could help you, so that we can consider adding it to our feature roadmap?
