In the forums, it would be nice to have new comments show first in the thread instead of having to scroll to the bottom or across pages to see what's new. Sometimes visitors may just want to a drive by check what's new.

Also, having the topics with new content on top is nice but it would be nice to have a pin or marker that shows which of the top ones actually have new comments since you were last here, maybe make the background a different light color. Currently I think it only says new if it's a brand new thread only.
