I want to schedule different monitoring intervals to all monitors – Example – for a given monitor 8 AM to 12 AM – the monitoring interval should be 1 minutes – and 12 AM to 8 AM the monitoring interval should be one hour. Can this be achieved – So we already have facilities to Achieve this?

Customisation of monitoring intervals isn't available with us at the moment. Btw, Why do you want to switch the intervals based on time? Can you share with us the advantages you are expecting. I believe having a single monitoring interval will be much more standard and fool-proof (when there is a sudden downtime during that period) rather than setting intervals for different time periods.

Why i am requesting this is
1. Some of the servers really need to be motored closely during the day time only and night time is not required much.
2. Some the other way around
3. Some requires normal attention during the night and day
4. By organising servers like this we can reduce the money that we spend on call and SMS alerts
Thank you Reshanth for coming back with your explanation.
One suggestion I can make here is to use schedule maintenance for the servers that you don’t want to monitor if you know the time you switch off monitoring. During the maintenance period we don’t send any alerts for that monitor (server).
Having said that we are also enhancing our notification capabilities with better OnCall scheduling and more. Stay tunes for more updates in this regards.
Can you share what tool you use for OnCall?
