Is there a way to get tool tips or a way to see a device's full name when in edit mode like you do in view mode in Topology Maps? Its annoying to toggle between edit mode and view mode to be able to see the full names of the devices. The naming schema we use makes it hard to tell the difference between devices based on only the first 6 chars in the device name.

First of all, apologies for the inconvenience that this has caused you. We realize that it is difficult to toggle between view and edit modes. We'll make sure to fix this in our future releases. We will post an update here once the feature goes live.
