Hi,

You can set thresholds for individual disk partitions in MB. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to Site24x7 and go to Server > Server Monitor > Servers.
  2. Click on Disks tab.
  3. In the Disk Partition Details & Usage Forecasting table, click on the pencil icon under Action.
  4. Set the threshold value for Disk Used Memory Exceeds in MB.
  5. Save your changes.

Hope this helps. Let us know for further queries, if any, in the below thread.

I know that, what if I have to set that threshold to 200 servers of 3000?

I am asking for that feature on a threshold profile, is that possible?

Hi,

Sure, we have added this feature to our road map. Will update this thread once the feature is live.

Thanks!

Hi,
Yes, it is achievable using Configuration Rules.

  1. Log in to Site24x7 and go to Admin > Inventory > Configuration Rules. Click on Add Rule.
  2. Provide a Display Name for the rule.
  3. Define Criteria as follows:
Select the Type as Server Disk Partition.
    Enter the Disk Partition Name.
(Optional Criteria: Enter the Monitor group or Monitor Name criteria to apply this rule to a specific set of Server Monitors)
  4. Define Actions:
Select Disk Used Memory from the Threshold Configuration dropdown and save and run the Rule to apply the threshold to all the existing Partitions matching the criteria
  5. Save your changes.

Note: To apply the changes to the existing monitors, run the rule manually once.

To verify to which disk partitions and servers the rule will be applied, click Matching Entities parallel to the Rule name on the Configuration Rules listing page.

Hope this helps!

Happy Monitoring!
