Testing alerts

Is there a way on your system to trigger a test alert?  I just set up some new features on my phone and I want to see how it reacts to notifications from Site24x7.

Under "Admin Tab-> User Management -> Users", edit your contact and use "Test Alert" to trigger a SMS alert to your phone.

Thanks but I don't have a phone number attached to this contact, only an email.  There is no Test Alert option unless a phone number is entered.  What other options are there?

We acknowledge the importance of this feature. It is not present currently in the way you expect. We are working on a new web client. 

However this feature will not make it to that one. We will take it up post that.

I'm trying to setup Zapier and it requires me to setup a test alert so I can test my integration...

SMS and phone call alerting can be tested by providing the phone number. We are yet to provide generic way to trigger test alert for all sort of notification media we support.

Hi All,

 Test alerts for 3rd party integrations are now supported. In Admin tab > Third party integrations page, you can now trigger a test alert.
