System uptime

Can the servers uptime be added on the summary screen and in the Root Cause Analyses report? It isn't clear sometimes if it rebooted and also would be good to know to help troubleshoot.

Hi Eric Duncan,

Thanks for bringing this up. We will include the server's availability (uptime) chart in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Report and update the post once the feature goes live. 

Do take a few minutes to answer the below queries. This would further help us in enhancing the current RCA report.

1. Do you find the current RCA reports useful?

2. Would you wish to include any other detail in the report?

3. Would you like to have a dashboard for overall incidents that happened across all server monitors?

Please do comment in the below thread your suggestions, and further queries, if any.

Yes, this takes out much of the manual investigations.

2. Would you wish to include any other detail in the report?

If the server is a virtual machine and if we are connected to vCenter/ESX, include logs from VMware for this server.

3. Would you like to have a dashboard for overall incidents that happened across all server monitors?

This would be nice, especially for systems we host for others. We could easily report/show incidents on a set of servers (maybe by group or tag).

Thanks a lot for giving us your suggestions. This would help us in building the feature better. Will add this in our road map, along with your comments.
