On-Premise Poller Monitor - test last polled status

We have noticed that a number of tests on our on premise pollers have not polled for a very long time.

Issue was not obvious. Only discovered when a critical application failed that wasn't identified in Site24x7

When you go to Admin, On-Premise Poller and then the respective poller, the list of tests all show green status (suggesting all is ok)

The last polled time only specifies a time and not the date.

Would it be possible to

a) provide a status that indicates if a test has not been run for say 24 hours - red would indicate a polling issue with that test.

b) Change the Last Polled time to include the date (not just the time) e.g. 14:29 is meaningless

Re: On-Premise Poller Monitor - test last polled status

Hi there,

We understand that it is important to update the status of the associated monitors when the On-Premise Poller is Down. There is already an option using which you can customize how you want your monitor status to be. For this, you've to navigate to Admin > On-Premise Poller > On-Premise Pollers.

From the list of On-Premise Pollers, click on the hamburger icon next to the desired On-Premise Poller and click Edit. In the Edit On-Premise Poller page, you will view the option Status of the Associated Monitors when the On-Premise Poller is Down. Here you can choose Trouble or Down.

  • Trouble: If you want all the monitors associated with the particular On-Premise Poller to go to Trouble state.
  • Critical: If you want all the monitors associated with the particular On-Premise Poller to go to the Critical state.

Make the required changes and Save them.

Regarding your point b, we'll work on it and try to release it in the next few releases. We'll update you in this thread once the feature goes live.

Thanks,

Santhi
