I’m told the address is invalid when I try to use a IPv6 literal address
for my web monitor. I want to use a literal address as all my websites’
domains are dual-stack with IPv4 and IPv6, and I want to monitor IPv4
and IPv6 services separately.
Here is an example of an IPv6 literal address as supported in
all browsers and as standardized in RFC 2732:
http://

Please address this
issue as the world has already run out of IPv4 addresses and the
whole industry need to get this stuff working yesterday.
PS: I’m not impressed that this forum software can’t recognize
an IPv6 address as an URL either. This works in competing products
such as UptimeRobot.
