Specific Docker container Monitoring & -ignore- the rest

Hello,

Request for an enhancement to the Docker Monitor (application discovery) to be able to specify which containers should be monitored / reported on if down and all others to be auto-ignored!

Thanks for raising this request. Docker Container discovery is already in our roadmap . 

Will update this thread once its live.

Hi Ahmed,

We now support monitoring containers exclusively. To discover new containers,

  1. Log in to Site24x7 and go to Server > Docker > Docker Hosts.
  2. Click on the docker monitor added and go to the Containers tab.
  3. Click on Discover Containers. Select the containers to be monitored. 

The selected containers will be added for monitoring. Hope this helps. You can also check out some FAQs related to docker for further assistance.
