Thanks for your feedback and we're sorry that we didn't include more details in the advisory. The issue could, under a specific condition, result in high outbound traffic in the server where the agent is deployed and there by resulting in poor performance.
Note that the issue affects only a narrow segment of customers who downloaded 3.6.0 version of the agent. We had an immediate patch, 3.6.1 to stop the issue from spreading to more customers. However, releasing it with a major version (3.7.0) was delayed a few days due to our release schedule. Hence, we sent out the advisory only to those customers who were using 3.6 version of the agent.
We will soon make our release notes publicly visible, so that you can track the agent enhancements.
