I would like to see the ability for thresholds to have more comparisons then just 'exceeds'. Less then and equal to would be a great start.
Ability to set thresholds that alert if it exceeds a certain value for longer then a certain time period would also be useful in removing false positives.

Thanks for raising this request.
Yes it will be good to support more conditions in thresholds. We will take up this to our Road map.
Ability setup alert if a value exceeds threshold for a time period is already supported via Threshold Strategy settings in Threshold and Availability configurations.
Follow the below guide for setting up threshold alerting appropriately.
