User Management

Role based access permissions

You can provide users with various access permissions based on the roles that they perform with your StatusIQ account. The following are user roles in StatusIQ, which can be assigned to a particular user:

  • StatusIQ Super Admin: A Super Administrator will have complete access to the StatusIQ account.
  • StatusIQ Admin: An Administrator will have read/write access to most of the modules, except the Billing section.
  • StatusIQ Spokesperson: A Spokesperson will have read-only access to most parts of the module. The only write permission a Spokesperson has is to post updates.
  • StatusIQ Billing contact: A User will have access only to billing modules for Upgrade and Renewals.
  • StatusIQ Read-only person: A User will have read-only access to the account.
  • StatusIQ MSP Admin: An MSP (managed service provider) Admin will have unrestricted access to the MSP Portal.
  • StatusIQ MSP Operator: An MSP Operator will have read-only access to the MSP Portal.
With read-only permission, you can view the page but will not be able to edit/write.

Add/Manage Users

  • You can add users by logging in to StatusIQ, and then navigating to Profile > User Management to select the Add User button.
  • You can then add users or manage the existing users in StatusIQ.
  • Once the email is verified, the user will be added as a confirmed user.
