Threshold and Availability for VMware VM Monitor

Add Threshold and Availability for VMware VM Monitor

1. Click Admin > Configuration Profiles > Threshold and Availability.
2. Click Add Threshold Profile in Threshold and Availability screen.
3. Specify the following details for adding threshold and availability for VMware VM monitor:
   • Choose Monitor Type: Select VMWare VM monitor from the drop down list.
   • Display Name: Provide a label for identification purpose.
4. Specify the following details for Threshold Configurations:
   • CPU Utilization threshold: Set value in percentage and get notified when the CPU utilization exceeds the set value.
   • Memory Utilization threshold: Set value in percentage and get notified when the memory utilization exceeds the set value.
   • Disk I/O exceeds: Set value in kbps and get notified when disk usage exceeds the set value.
   • Network Usage exceeds: Set value in kbps and get notified when the network usage exceeds the set value. 
      
5. Click Save.
6. The threshold and availability profile created for VMWare VM monitor will be automatically listed in the Threshold and Availability screen along with the others already created.
   
   A default threshold and availability profile for VMware VM Monitor will be automatically listed in the Threshold and Availability screen when the users for the first time click Admin> Inventory > Monitors > Add Monitor > VMware VM.

Edit Threshold and Availability for VMware monitor

1. Click the profile which you want to edit.
2. Edit the parameters which needs to be changed in Add Threshold and Availability window.
3. Click Save.

Delete Threshold and Availability for VMware VM monitor

1. Click the profile in the Threshold and Availability screen which needs to be deleted.
2. This will navigate to Add Threshold and Availability window.
3. Click Delete.
