Add Threshold and Availability for MS Exchange Monitor
Click Admin > Configuration Profiles > Threshold and Availability.
Click Add Threshold and Availability in Add Threshold Profile screen.
Specify the following details for adding threshold and availability for MS Exchange Monitor:
Choose Monitor Type: Select MS Exchange Monitor from the drop down list.
Display Name: Provide a label for identification purpose.
Specify the following details for Mailbox:
IO DB Writes exceeds: Get alert severity status as either down or trouble when the IO database writes exceeds the specified count.
IO DB Reads exceeds: Get alert severity status as either down or trouble when the IO database reads exceeds the specified count.
RPC Response time to Unified Messaging exceeds: Get alerted when response time from Mailbox to Unified Messaging exceeds the set value. Enable the toggle button to get notified as Down or Trouble according to your configuration.
RPC Response time to Hub Transport exceeds: Get alerted when the response time from Mailbox to Hub Transport exceeds the set value. Enable the toggle button to get notified as Down or Trouble according to your configuration.
Information store RPC Response time exceeds: Get notified when the information store RPC response time exceeds the set value.
Information Store Mailbox average delivery time exceeds: Get notified when the information store mailbox average delivery time exceeds the set value. Also get severity status as Down or Trouble according to your configuration.
Specify the following details for ClientAccess:
OWA response time exceeds: Get alert severity status as either down or trouble when OWA response time exceeds the set value.
Active sync response time exceeds: Get alerted when the response time exceeds the configured value. Enable the toggle button to get notified as Down or Trouble according to your configuration.
OWA requests exceeds: Get alert severity status as either trouble or down when OWA request exceeds the set value.
Active sync OWA requests exceeds: Get notified when Active sync requests exceed the configured value. Get the severity status as Down or Trouble according to your configuration.
OWA Messages sent exceeds: Get notified when OWA sent messages cross the set value. Enable the toggle button to get notified as Down or Trouble.
Active sync busy threads exceeds: Receive alerts when active sync busy threads cross the configured value. Enable the toggle button to get notified as Down or Trouble.
Specify the following for Unified Messaging:
Current Calls exceeds: Receive severity status as Down or Trouble when current calls exceeds the set value.
Mailbox access failure exceeds: Get notified when the mailbox access failure count crosses the configured set. Enable the toggle button to get notified as either Trouble or Down.
Hub Transport access failure exceeds: Get notified when the hub transport access failure count crosses the set value. Enable the toggle button to get notified as either Trouble or Down.
Directory access failure exceeds: Receive severity status as Down or Trouble when directory access failure value exceeds the set value.
User response latency exceeds: Get alerted when user response latency count exceeds the set value. Enable the toggle button to get notified as Down or Trouble according to your configuration.
Call duration exceeds: Get alert severity status as either down or trouble when call duration exceeds the specified count.
Subscriber authentication failure exceeds: Get alert severity status as either down or trouble when subscriber authentication failure count exceeds the specified set.
Specify the following details for HubTransport and EdgeTransport:
Hub SMTP Inbound/Outbound exceeds: Get alert severity status as either down or trouble when the Hub SMTP Inbound/Outbound count exceeds the specified count
Hub messages sent/received exceeds: Get alerted when Hub messages sent/received exceeds the set value. Enable the toggle button to get notified as Down or Trouble according to your configuration.
Edge SMTP Inbound/Outbound exceeds: Get notified when Edge SMTP inbound/outbound count crosses the set value.
Edge messages sent/received exceeds: Receive alerts when Edge messages sent/received the configured value. Enable the toggle button to get notified as Down or Trouble.
Click Save.
The threshold and availability profile created for MS Exchange Monitor will be automatically listed in the Threshold and Availability screen along with the others already created. A default threshold and availability profile for MS Exchange Monitor will be automatically listed in the Threshold and Availability screen when the users for the first time click Admin > Inventory > Monitors > Add Monitor > MS Exchange Monitor.
Edit Threshold and Availability for MS Exchange Monitor
Click the profile which you want to edit.
Edit the parameters which needs to be changed in Add Threshold and Availability window.
Click Save.
Delete Threshold and Availability for MS Exchange Monitor
Click the profile in the Threshold and Availability screen which needs to be deleted.
This will navigate to Add Threshold and Availability window.
Click Delete.
