Currently the datastore monitor feature requires you to use number of GB free as the monitor. This means I had to create 3 different monitors for different sized disks. And a 4th larger disk one should have been created.
Please consider also going % free as an option in the thresholds for Datastore. That was you can apply a 10% or 15% free threshold to all datastores.

We understand the difficulty in creating different thresholds for each VMware datastore monitor. We've already started working on the feature you've requested, and you can expect it to be available in the next couple of months.

Hi Josh,
We've released percentage based free space threshold for VMware Datastore Monitoring.
To configure this, edit your current threshold profile and choose "Free Space (In percentage)" from the drop-down menu.
