Multiple Notification Profiles, multiple Alert Groups, and Alert Schedules

It would be great to have two different notification profiles for a monitor, and the ability to tie those alerts to different alert groups, severity or custom schedules.

For my first example, I may have a web server.  I would like to receive an email notification if a monitor is unable to get to the site on the first attempt.  If there are 2 more (total of 3 polls) and the site is still down, I then would like to receive a page, or notify a different alert group.

Another example of this is that from 7AM-6PM Mon-Fri I want a page notification if a particular monitor goes off just once.  The rest of the time, evenings and weekends, I may only want an email notification after 3 instances of the monitor triggering.

Last example is that perhaps I want email notifications for trouble events, and want pages for down events, or one alert group for trouble and another alert group for down events.

Hi Clindsay,

We understand that this will ease the notification system and can streamline the flow instead of having only 1 group getting all the notifications. We will analyze how to solve this. I'll post once we have an update.

Hi Is there any update to this feature?

+1 for this. Right now whoever is on call manually changes the notification profile before they leave for the day and when they get back in the morning.

Would also be nice if the PagerDuty integration (which is all about notifications) would treat those named integration instances as any other 'user' so they could be added to User Alert Groups rather than that integration being just a 'dumb pipe' of alerts to PagerDuty.

Hi Kevin, I understand this is a late but can be more descriptive on this "treat those named integration". May be with some example so that we are on the right page.
