Homepage to display monitor trouble or down reason

Hi,

Currently the homepage shows the status of monitor with downs first, then troubles and then rest of the monitors, which is perfect.

However, it will be great  if there is an additional column (in addition to Monitor name, performance and last polled columns) indicating the reason of the monitor down/trouble status e.g. memory utilisation more than 90% or disk space less than 5 % etc, whatever it may be. To find out why a monitor is in trouble I have to click on that monitor and then figure out, which could have easy been displayed in the home screen as well. You are only using 3 columns, and there are plenty of space for an additional column to display this vital information.

Thanks,

Ash

Hey Ash,

Have you tried our Alarms page? The page is meant for having to take actions for alarms. The alarms view has the reason for the down /trouble and has options to assign technicians or schedule a maintenance.

Hi Jasper,

Everyone lands in the home page first and should have the summary. I understand that you want the keep the home page clean and clutter free, but a summarised reason why a monitor is in trouble would certainly be beneficial.

Also, you can allow customer to customise the number of columns visible in home page, that will give flexibility as who wants to view what information in the home page.

Thanks,

Ash

Thanks for the suggestion Ash. We'll have a look at this and try to solve it in a way that benefits all.
