View event logs in Kubernetes

Utilize Site24x7 to collect your Kubernetes logs to minimize lots of efforts going into troubleshooting. You can now view the event logs generated by:

  • Nodes
  • Pods

Why is this important?

Kubernetes, as a whole, generates huge amounts of data. Each pod, node, and cluster generates lots of logs that can be tedious to manage and re-visit the only entries that are vital.

Site24x7's Kubernetes event logs lets you view and manage event logs of your clusters, pods, and nodes.

Getting started

To view your event logs of your cluster:

  1. Log in to your Site24x7 account.
  2. Go to Server > Kubernetes > the Kubernetes cluster > Events.
  3. Alternatively, you can click Applogs on the left navigation pane and enter Kubernetes events in the log type field on the top and press Enter.
    Note

    In this dashboard, you can view the event logs of all the nodes and pods in the cluster.

To view the event logs of a particular pod:

  1. Log in to your Site24x7 account.
  2. Go to Server > Kubernetes > the Kubernetes cluster, and then click the pod.
  3. Go to the Events tab to view the event logs of the pod.

To view the event logs of a particular node:

  1. Log in to your Site24x7 account.
  2. Go to Server > Kubernetes > the Kubernetes cluster, and then click the node.
  3. Go to the Events tab to view the event logs of the node.
