Start monagent after server restart

Hello,

Is there a possibility to start the monagent after the server restart on Linux based systems. Unit file would be the best.

Thanks for raising this request. We are already working on monagent service implementation for system based servers using unit file.This will be available in our next Linux Server Monitoring Agent release.

The support for monagent restart for system-based servers is expected to release by mid of next month. Will post in this thread once its live.

Hi,

Please download the latest agent from https://uploads.zohocorp.com/Internal_Useruploads/dnd/Site24x7/o_1ci209gda1uhi1rjvl50ujl1qph1/Site24x7_Linux_64bit.install

This contains the handling of systemd service type with unit file.

Follow the steps mentioned below to install the agent:

#1) chmod 755 Site24x7_Linux_64bit.install

#2) ./Site24x7_Linux_64bit.install -i -key=<device_key>

Once installed, kindly check if the agent service is getting restarted after server reboot.
